UIC - Rockford School of MedicineNational Center for Rural Health Professions – AdditionROCKFORD, ILLINOISThe unique challenge in developing the interior design for this space was to merge the existing building and its finishes, with the new contemporary addition, blending the two aesthetics to create a cohesive facility. We took a cue from the existing color palette consisting of orange, brown, ivory and dark brown woods, and updated it by introducing rich black, ochre, warm caramel wood tones and crisp satin anodized aluminums in both the interior finishes and the furnishings.
